On 6 October between approximately 15:45 and 20:30 GMT, security hardening changes to our Cloudflare configuration unintentionally blocked our external monitoring service. As a result, our monitoring reported the Issuing Web Services as intermittently down, and status notifications alternated between down and up. To reduce notification noise, the Issuing Web Services were placed in maintenance mode while the configuration was corrected.

During the same period, a small number of partners whose systems connect to us using fixed IP address allowlists experienced connection failures. We are working directly with affected partners.

The monitoring configuration was corrected and has been stable since 20:32 GMT. We are reviewing our change process to ensure monitoring and partner access are verified before configuration changes are applied.
